I had really good intentions.
I thought I’d do 365 days of photos, which didn’t happen. I thought I’d write up a big explanation about why I quit posting to that blog last week. I thought I was for sure going to write up something about the roadtrip I’m embarking on tomorrow, and said roadtrip’s significance in my life, or what I hope to achieve from it, or even where Florian and I are going and what we’ll be doing. But none of that has happened.
So, in lieu of explanations and rambling thoughts about photoblogs being work vs. photoblogs being an inspiration to see creatively everywhere, I’m just going to say that I’m leaving tonight to PDX, where I’ll wake up tomorrow around 6 am before heading south on I-5 towards San Fransisco. As of tonight, 3 years of blogging is going on hiatus. If I ever feel the inspiration, I may do a few text posts (sorry, Katie! I’m over it!), but I really don’t see myself doing any more maintenance than that. I’ll be shooting photos for during the entire trip, and I’ll have a gallery up on Smugmug when I get back next summer.
Until then, thanks for to the loyals reading and commenting (you all know who you are). See you this July.
